THE END IS MY BEGINNING

In an care home, Véronique, a lonely old lady in a wheelchair, meets a newcomer. A complicity borns immediately between the two of them and they fall in love, until they escape one night. But when they return the next morning, Véronique discovers a great commotion around her room. She thinks they are looking for her and she ends up discovering her own lifeless body. She leaves with her lover in room 13 who slowly disappears. By the photos left in her room we discover that the gentleman is her husband, who died 10 years before.

In una casa di riposo, Véronique, un’anziana donna solitaria sulla sedia a rotelle, incontra un nuovo arrivato. Tra i due nasce subito un’intesa speciale e si innamorano, fino a decidere di fuggire insieme una notte. Al loro ritorno il mattino seguente, Véronique trova grande agitazione intorno alla sua stanza. Convinta che stiano cercando lei, finisce per fare una scoperta sconvolgente: il suo stesso corpo senza vita. Si allontana allora con il suo amante nella stanza 13, mentre lui inizia a svanire lentamente. Solo attraverso le fotografie lasciate nella sua stanza si scopre la verità: l’uomo è suo marito, morto dieci anni prima.
