HAPPINESS IS A WILD BEAST

Jeanne, in her fifties, is a broken woman. She lost her husband in a shipwreck ten years earlier off the coast of Yeu island. Her 19-year-old nephew, Tom, announces that he is leaving the island. Jeanne is shocked. That same evening, a bear is spotted on the island. Under the moonlight, the islanders set out to find it. Over the course of a week, a collective quest for happiness takes on a magical and whimsical turn, exploring themes of loss and absence through a tribute to the strength of nature and humanity.
