EL SABATER D’ORDIS (THE COBBLER OF ORDIS)

Days have passed since Antoni Iglesias´ son, the cobbler of Ordis, disappeared. The recurrent visions of him crying for help will be the trigger for the cobbler to look for him.
This trip will turn, against all odds, and with the help of wine, a desperate adventure to flee his torturing sadness. It will also help him to fight not only his most inner fears but also the dark beings around him.
The rural atmosphere, sordid and mostly miserable from the plain areas of Empordà in the first quarter of the 20th century and the mistery and legends of the towns, the forests and the mountains, the siren songs coming from the water, the tramuntana wind blaring through the Albera in Figueres, they are the main characters and witnesses of a story full of epic mithology.
The movie was filmed near the areas and old towns of Ordis, Avinyonet, Castelló
d’Empúries, Figueres, Vilafant, Vilanant, Lliurona, Albanyà, Llers and also in cap de Creus and the Aiguamolls, amongst other places.
